You can now build and run custom widgets directly inside Port dashboards and entity pages. Develop your own frontend components using your preferred stack, package them as plugins, and upload them with the Port Plugins CLI. Once added, they’re available in the Plugins Manager and can be reused across dashboards and entities—fully integrated with Port’s data, permissions, and context. For example, you can build a calendar widget that visualizes incidents over time—and reuse the same plugin to display PRs by using the supported custom params.

Naama Ben Oliel Ronen Are these intended as additional functionality for admins (so just broadening the scope of what administrators can build outside of the existing widget types), or would this be truly targeted towards normal users who are building their own views outside of the pages/configurations that admins have globally created for them (like Personalized Homepage Customization for Individual Users

Great question, Richard Rein Jr! For now these features mainly broaden what admins can build beyond the existing widget types, but we’ll also be exploring ways to empower members depending on the direction of the solution.
