Currently scorecard rules are defined by conditions that use the search/query system but these can get complicated for complex rules. It would be very useful if you could directly use JQ in these conditions.

Another way to approach the same scenario is by creating a calculation property (using JQ) and then writing a scorecard rule using that property.

I already use this workaround for complex rules, but it is not scalable. You are forced to pollute a data model with temporary properties that are hard to maintain.
