As a platform engineer responsible for our Port infrastructure, I want to consume operational metrics and log data using an open format within my standard observability platform so that I can effectively measure self-service workflows, dashboard usage, event triggers, web hooks, data source sync jobs, and so on. Log data for sync jobs and system auditing should also be available via the same standard observability pipeline.
